How Training Works
What to Expect
Youth programs at Avid is built around developing a strong foundation in movement.
We focus on teaching proper mechanics and practicing movement. But our youth programs also are about developing work capacity, mobility, stability, power, strength, endurance and more. Training how to control your body is invaluble early in life
We prioritize making training fun and engaging while developing skills that carry over into sports and everyday life.
Classes follow a consistent structure so kids can improve over time while staying challenged and motivated.
What they build here carries into everything they do.
Memberships for youth programs typically range from $50–$100 per month depending on attendance and structure.
All new athletes begin with 1–3 one on one sessions so we can teach movement, build confidence, and place them in the right group.

Every session is coached and designed to help kids learn, move, and grow in a supportive environment.

Coach led sessions
Kids are guided through each part of the workout with clear demonstrations, instruction and encouragement. -
Mechanics as a priority
We teach proper mechanics, balance, and body control to build a strong foundation. -
Fitness through hard work
On a foundation of good mechanics we can add intensity and load. The workouts are balanced around progressing in skills. They use moderate weights, pull up bars, rings, boxes, sleds, rowers and much more. We do weightlifting, gymnastics and conditioning. -
Confidence in sport and life
As skills improve, kids gain confidence in what they can do and it makes fitness fun and a way of life. -
Character development
This is an environment that builds grit, teaches discipline and hard work.
